How Rankings Work
Primary Metric: $/hr
Effective hourly rate is the primary ranking because it answers the real question: is this strategy worth your time? Revenue and profit are secondary to what you actually earn per hour of work.
Same Market, Fair Test
Every strategy sees the same sourcing opportunities, the same buyer behavior, the same trend cycles. The only variable is the strategy's decisions. This isolates strategy quality from market luck.
Death Pile Penalty
Strategies that accumulate unsold inventory look good on revenue but bad on capital efficiency. The death pile percentage shows how much of your buying effort generates zero return.
Time Is Money
Sourcing, listing, shipping, customer service. Every minute counts. A strategy that generates $1,000 profit in 200 hours ($5/hr) is worse than one that generates $500 in 30 hours ($16.67/hr).
